HHAE academic scholarship extension program

HHAE Academic Scholarship Extension Program

 This application is not for admission to any academic program, academic organization, college, or university. Completion of this application is for scholarship extension consideration only and is limited to current Houston Hispanic Architects and Engineers (HHAE) scholarship recipients. Applicants must submit all required materials as outlined in this application.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and maintain full-time or part-time enrollment at an accredited undergraduate institution. Final award amounts will be adjusted based on the recipient’s coursework. The application deadline is March 31st, 2026. All applications must be submitted through the HHAE website. Submittals via email will not be accepted. Applicants may be invited to participate in a tentative 30-minute interview in May 2026. Applicants will be notified of scholarship extension approval by the end of May 2026.

The Scholarship Extension Program is intended to provide continued financial support to eligible students pursuing degrees in architecture, engineering, or surveying who require additional financial assistance to complete their undergraduate studies. Award decisions will be based on academic performance, demonstrated financial need, community involvement, and a written essay or reflection, as outlined in this application.
